We as humans are aware of everything that our eyes can see, everything that we can hear, taste, touch…We rely entirely on what we can interact with, what we can manipulate in some fashion. The truth is much more complicated than that. Beyond our own world, there is another that exists. One that belongs to beings that are not “humans” by definition. A very long time ago, there was a war between both worlds. It was ended with a truce between the rulers of both worlds, after seeing the enormous loss of life the war caused. But now over 400 years later there is a mysterious group of shadowy figures who wish to tear the truce apart and cause a second war. Caught in the middle of this struggle is 20 year old Ken Suzumoto and his friends, members of an elusive organization known as "Evergreen". Charged with the task of protecting the delicate balance of both worlds, Ken and his friends must deal with spirits, yokai, growing up and protecting not one but two worlds.

Character summaries and descriptions:

Kentsuru "Ken" Suzumoto; 20 years old - The main character. Ken is a kind, smart and caring person, often putting himself in harm's way to stand up for what he believes to be fair and just. In his current form, he has black hair that hangs in his face, hazel eyes. He has a slim, athletic body type with lots of well defined muscles. Ken's fashion sense is like an athlete, he wears alot of oversized hoodies with different slogans or pictures on the front and lots of loose fitting jeans and cargo pants.

Teru Kazama; 20 years old - Ken's best friend. Teru is smart, sophisticated (though he can be quite childish at time as well), amazingly intelligent and a master swordsman. Teru has never been sketched, but he is described as follows: “He is wearing glasses and has short, very light grey hair that has two long strands on the sides. He is of a very slender build. He has brilliant blue eyes and a kind face”. Fashion sense on Teru is conservative, mostly sweaters or dress shirts and dress pants.


Kyosuke "Ban" Mitobuchi; 18 years old - Ban is one of the new friends they meet at Seijyun Academy. Ban is a fun loving, carefree guy who seemingly never gets angry. Though when he is pushed too much, he becomes an unstoppable force of concentration and pure determination. He is described like this: “He has an athletic build and it’s clear that he’s a track runner. He has hair that is spiked in layers, with one bigger spike than the others at an angle. His hair is a medium brown color. He has a confidant, cool air about him”.


Kaho Hizuki; 19 years old - Ken's love interest. Kaho is beautiful, intelligent, and very kind. Despite her outward appearance of being very beautiful and slender, she harbors a destructive power inside her body and is the strongest fighter of all the characters. Is very confidant, bordering on arrogant when facing any opponent on the battlefield. She also has a keen mind for solving mysteries and puzzles.


Maika Kanzuki; 18 years old - The second new friend they make after Ban. Maika is very shy and reserved around people she doesn’t know well, but around Ken and her friends she’s very goofy and energetic. She appears dim-witted to outsiders, but she has a very deep understanding of people and their behavior.


Reika Kanzuki; 26 years old; - Reika is Maika's older sister. Reika is a tomboy and she’s pretty serious most of the time. She is overly protective of her younger sister, Maika, and she’s quick to get angry at anyone who picks on her. She’s a champion Muay Thai fighter and has a very muscular, though still very feminine body type. She’s taller than the other girls.



Kotsu Kobayashi; 18 years old – Kotsu seems cold and uncaring to those who don’t know her well, but it’s simply her way of dealing with people after years of abuse from her father. She used to be the leader of a street gang and still maintains that badass aura around her. Kotsu is a boxer, and often wears leather gloves on her hands.



Aki Suzumoto; 16 years old – Ken’s younger sister. Aki is always sarcastic and cynical, often offending people with her blunt statements. Despite this, she cares deeply for her older brothers and her friends, Kaho in particular.



Ryouzu Suzumoto – 27 years old – Ken and Aki’s older brother, also serving as their legal guardian. Ryouzu is very fatherly to his younger siblings, but tends to goof around too much for his own good. He is much more muscular than the other male characters, and has medium length brown hair that he combs back.



Fumiko “Kuru” Mitobuchi – 16 years old – Ban’s younger sister. Kuru is shy and timid around everyone except Aki, her only friend. Despite Aki’s offensive personality, Kuru seems drawn to her and the two are almost inseparable. Kuru has trouble expressing herself and talks in circles a lot, annoying people who aren’t familiar with her way of speaking. She is described as being “quite small and thin, with very long black hair that flows behind her like a cape”.



Itsumishu - ??? years old – One of the two main villains of the story. He is a sorcerer who wishes to assist his lover, Kain, in her quest to conquer and destroy both worlds. Has a sordid history with the Suzumoto family and Teru. Never been sketched, but is described as having “long grey hair and an expression that shows he is always scheming and planning his next move, conveyed through his thin black eyes hidden behind his glasses”. He is muscular and thin and is also a master swordsman like Teru. Also uses magic in his attacks.



Kain - ??? years old – the other main villain. She is Itsumishu’s lover and is the one who has planned to destroy both worlds. She holds a deep grudge against Ken and Evergreen. She is described as “being strikingly beautifully. She has the face of a natural born leader, which is mismatched by her cruel blue eyes and black hair.”
